September 2009
I'm going to stay with my new lady forever and be her special helper dog. I wish Mum and Dad knew they'd be so proud of me.
April 2009
Now I'm with a new lady who I like very much. She's in a wheelchair and I help in lots of useful ways. Plus I always always listen to what she needs and get it for her (I'm not quite so good at getting what anyone else wants though - unless they ask me very nicely!)
February 2009
I went out on my first placement but the person I was to be placed with had cats and the cats were terrified of me. So it didn't work out. Now I'm back with my two ladies. But they say I mustn't get too comfy because I'll be off out again soon.
May 2008
I went off down to Heyshott for my final training. Some of the other dogs stay in kennels overnight there but I didn't like being in them at all!!! So now I'm living with two very nice ladies who take me to class each day and give me lots of strokes.

Goodbye Mum and Dad

Mum packed up all my toys and my chews this morning. I tried to help her by having a last chew of them and taking the toys out of the bags she put them in. Mum didn't mind. She kept cuddling me and telling me what a good boy I am. Then she looked in the fridge and took out some cheese and some of my favourite sausages and put them in a bag for me. I tried to tell her I could eat them straight away (although I was a bit full up really) but Mum said I had to wait and gave me another cuddle.
Then Rachel came. I like Rachel's car - its nice and big. Mum's car is getting a bit small for me to fit in. I sat in the back of Rachel's car and Mum gave me my treat bag and told me I was to be a very good boy for Rachel and a good friend to Gandalf.
Then Rachel drove off and Mum waved and waved us goodbye.

Rachel and Gandalf
Today Mum took me for a very long drive (she got lost) and finally we arrived at Rachel (a person) and Gandalf's (a labradoodle) house in the country. Gandalf is my new very best friend. We played and played and then Rachel and Mum took us for a walk in the woods and then we came home and played some more. I hope we go to their house again soon.
